Zia Park Equestrian Centre in Gidgegannup offers a variety of horse training and re-education options to horse owners. Whilst in training, horses receive first-class care and a tailored, pre-agreed work schedule.

Zia Park Equestrian Centre’s riders are experienced in handling in young horses, dressage, showjumping and cross country training and are qualified in re-education and problem solving.

Young Horses

Zia Park Equestrian Centre is highly qualified in working with young horses for a variety of uses and disciplines. This includes the re-education of ex race horses and pacers to enable a future as a successful hack, dressage, showjumping or eventing horse. Commonly, a mixture of natural and classical horsemanship methods are used, from which horses are able to understand basics such as trust and respect, gain confidence, and build a foundation for any future use.

Re-education of Problem Horses

Zia Park Equestrian Centre offers concerned horse owners options for the re-education and training of problem horses and is able to address behavioural issues, such as aggression, shyness and other anxieties. Zia Park Equestrian Centre’s expert staff can also help with float-training, lunging education and desensitisation schooling.

Show & Competition Preparation

Zia Park Equestrian Centre offers show and competition preparation of horses for hacking, dressage, showjumping and eventing competitions. A tailored approach will ensure horses are “at their best” and horse owners are confident in their abilities when attending their outings.
