Horses for Sale 

Sally is a beautifully conformed well bred young mare with substance and quality.  She is 3/4 Warmblood and 1/4 thoroughbred.  Her movement is exceptional, she jumps with scope, boldness and athleticism, she is sensible and easy to train. She has the presence, conformation and temperament to excel in any field. 

Sally has been under saddle for one year, and in that time she has attended pony club, dressage, cross country and show jumping training days and a few small competitions. She has been to Hills SJ, Gidge SJ and cross country, Brookleigh indoors and cross country, Summer series and cross country at the SEC and recently completed her first ODE at the inaugural Dryandra event. She has been to the beach and swims at the local lake. She is relaxed and confident in the bush and on the roads, by herself or with a large group of horses.

Sally is a friendly relaxed horse, she is calm and accepting of new situations and unfazed by unfamiliar surroundings.  She is good for the farrier, happy to be clipped, self loads on the float and travels well with our without company.  She is a comfortable ride, with big expressive paces, soft and light to the aids with outstanding trainability. 

Sally was bred by Dwight Pedlow at the Swan Valley Equestrian Park. She was started under saddle at Saltriver Performance Horses. Trainers and coaches who have seen Sally have all been impressed with her attitude and ability.  Her rider is Vivien Pinter, who is a One Star event rider and a PCAWA “A” candidate.  Vivien has trained Sally from the beginning of her foundation training and ridden work, under the supervision of Gail Simms at Zia Park Equestrian Centre.

Sally will be an exceptional performance horse.  She is looking for an ambitious rider who will appreciate her talent and lovely temperament

Thelma is a beautiful young warmblood mare with outstanding conformation and a temperament to die for.  She is a full sister to Baraya Louise, who is currently being very successfully campaigned in showjumping and eventing by Kenya Wilson.

Thelma has been carefully started and has been exposed to a variety of work, including bush riding, swimming, stick and ball for polocrosse, dressage schooling, games skills, cross country jumping and show jumping.  She is so quiet that I have used her for lessons in my riding school.

She is very calm and is good to float, shoe, tie up, catch, rug, etc.  Thelma is up to date with teeth, worming and vaccinations, is branded and ready to go to an ambitious teenager or lady rider who wants a young superstar in the making. She has good movement, is developing a very good jumping technique and has a fantastic attitude to training. She is a good doer and keeps a beautiful short coat throughout the year.

Sunshine is a nice moving large pony with good conformation and type. She has a quiet temperament and has been ridden by children and teenagers. She has a soft mouth and works in a good outline without rushing and goes forward from light aids. Sunshine has had basic schooling in flatwork, lungeing, jumping and games.  She has a good aptitude for games and jumping and also works well on the flat.   She is a quiet ride in the arena or in the bush and is good with other horses or on her own.

Sunshine had her first outing in March and was placed in her very first showjumping competition in a large field. She was beautifully behaved all day and stood at the float like an old hand.  Sunshine will make a great second pony.  She is agisted at Zia Park and is for sale on behalf of her owners.
