Trail Riding

Zia Park Equestrian Centre offers individual clients and small groups escorted trail rides on our 140 acre property and to surrounding reserves.  Zia Park has a variety of safe horses and ponies available to riders of all skill levels including beginners. Approved helmets are provided.   Riders of all ages over 6 are welcome.  Before setting off on your ride, you will be shown the basics of horse control in an enclosed arena. Beginners and nervous riders are catered for with rides at a sedate walk.  More experienced riders will be able to trot and canter and go on longer tracks.

Beginners,  young children and people who ride infrequently will find that a one hour ride is plenty of time in the saddle.  For more experienced riders, longer rides can be arranged.  Please contact us for details.

Escorted ride:      1 or 2 riders           $55 per rider per hour
Escorted ride:      3+ riders                $45 per rider per hour
