This program is suitable for beginners and for more experienced riders, it will include Ready Set Trot levels Green to Blue.  Our sessions run from 8 AM to 1 PM daily.  Unmounted activities include lessons in general equestrian knowledge, horse welfare, stable management and care of horses and equipment as per the Ready Set Trot syllabus.   Children will ride at least twice daily, activities include traditional lessons, mounted games, trail riding and active riding.  Riders will be grouped according to age and riding experience.

 Please note our school holiday programs are not residential. 

READY SET TROT The material we cover for all riders 6 - 10 years of age in ridden and unmounted sessions at Zia Park is from Equestrian Australia's Ready Set Trot program.  You can find out more about this program here   If your child is already enrolled, please be sure to bring the folder every day. If you’ve not yet enrolled we will enrol your child on the first day of the program and provide him or her with a folder for the first (Green) level. Zia Park covers the cost of this enrolment with Equestrian Australia because we want to make sure that all of our young riders have to opportunity to get the best grounding possible for their riding future.
